Can I take photographs in stations?

Taking photographs with a flash of a train in operation, taking photographs by stepping over the white line near the edge of the platform, in off-limit areas, or by using tripods, and taking photos of other passengers are prohibited. If you wish to take photographs for broadcasting purposes, please contact the Customer Relations Center. Please refrain from taking photographs for commercial purposes.
  1. We kindly ask that you refrain from entering the subway track area or restricted areas as you may come into contact with an oncoming train or be electrocuted by high-voltage electric cables.
  2. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photographs while leaning on platform gates or stepping over the white lines location near the edge of the platform as you may fall off the platform or come into contact with an oncoming train.
  3. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos with flashes or lighting equipment as it is a safety hazard for train drivers.
  4. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos using stepladders, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, etc. as it may cause trouble to other commuters. As stations have limited space, we kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure fluid movement within stations by making space in front of stairs, escalators and ticket gates. We kindly ask that you refrain from causing trouble to other commuters by taking photos of them, etc. When taking photos, we kindly ask that you consider other people who are taking photos. If station staff give you instructions, we kindly ask that you abide by them.
