Frequently Asked Questions

Is the fare the same for any transfer that does not require going through the ticket gate no matter which route is taken?

Inquiry ID:OpenFAQ-001194 Latest Update:2016/12/13

When there are multiple routes between the station you get on and the destination station, in principle, we charge the fare of the least expensive route. For a student/commuter railway pass, however, the fare is charged for the route specified on the pass.
